She is a Seoul-born Korean queer artist and activist and is actively participating in Seoul pride (officially known as the Seoul Queer Culture Festival), since 2011. Hurricane Kimchi is Co-founder and Chief Organiser of Seoul Drag Parade, also known as Heezy Yang.
